In January 2018, with the approval of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, the cross-strait economic and Trade Fair was renamed the 21st century Maritime Silk Road Expo and cross-strait economic and trade fair, becoming the only Expo named "Haisi" in China. For a long time, adhering to the essence of "international investment month" and highlighting investment and trade, May 18 has become a well-known "comprehensive investment and Trade Exhibition" at home and abroad through years of exploration and practice. It is an important platform to display the countries and regions along the 21st century Maritime Silk Road, comprehensive consumer goods and the achievements of economic construction in Fujian and Fuzhou.

 

During the "May 18" period in 2019, 21 various activities and conferences were held, with an exhibition area of 120000 square meters and 4500 booths. 133 key guest groups and 1638 enterprises from 80 countries and regions around the world participated in the exhibition, with 365000 visitors; A total of 475 investment projects were connected, with a total investment of 401.734 billion yuan. There were new breakthroughs in the scale, level, form, impact and effectiveness of international and cross-strait exchanges.

With the theme of "expanding Maritime Silk Road cooperation, deepening cross-strait integration and sharing development achievements", this "May 18" will hold three parallel forums and more than 10 supporting activities, including the silk road China EU investment forum, the marine economy and urban development • port cooperation forum and the cross-strait Supply Chain Integration Development Summit Forum. The exhibition area will be 120000 square meters and 4500 booths will be arranged, which are divided into three parts: "maritime Silk Road cooperation", "cross-strait integration" and "shared development".

Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in Cangshan District, Fuzhou City. It is the only large-scale convention and Exhibition Center located in the free trade zone in China. It covers an area of 670000 square meters and a total construction area of 440000 square meters. It is composed of the exhibition halls on both sides connected by the conference center. With magnificent momentum and unique shape, it is one of the largest exhibition halls in China.

The construction area of the exhibition center is 354000 square meters, which is composed of four exhibition halls on the East and west sides, with a net exhibition hall area of 120000 square meters. There are 10 indoor exhibition halls on the first floor, and nearly 6000 international standard booths can be set up.

     

With a construction area of 86000 square meters, the conference center has 42 functional conference rooms such as the opening ceremony hall, the general assembly hall, the multi-functional hall and the international conference hall.

The Convention and Exhibition Center has complete supporting facilities, with 1400 parking spaces, business office buildings, service areas, catering areas, underground shopping malls, convention and Exhibition squares and other facilities.

According to the different positioning of the silk sea Expo and the maritime trade fair, it is planned to arrange an exhibition area of 120000 square meters and 4500 booths, which are divided into three parts: "Silk sea cooperation", "cross-strait integration" and "shared development".

（一）"Haisi cooperation"

The exhibition area is 29000 m2, with 3 exhibition halls and 1250 booths.

1. 21st century Maritime Silk Road Theme Exhibition Area (opening Hall)

Set in the opening Hall: the front area covers an area of 300 m2, mainly displaying the construction achievements of the "Silk Road" and the cooperation achievements of countries along the "Silk Road".

2. Haisi import commodities exhibition area

It is set in exhibition halls 3 and 4, covering an area of 20000 m2 and 850 booths, mainly displaying the image of the host country and the imported goods of countries and regions along the "21st century Maritime Silk Road".

3. Haisi tea culture exhibition area

Set in exhibition hall 1, with an area of 9000 m2 and 400 booths, it mainly displays the tea culture of countries and regions along the Silk Road and both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

（二）"Cross strait integration"

The exhibition area is 39200 m2, with 4 exhibition halls and 1618 booths.

1. Taiwan youth entrepreneurship achievements and cultural and creative products exhibition area

It is set in hall 8, with an area of 300 square meters and 34 booths. It mainly displays the entrepreneurial achievements of Taiwan youth in the mainland and cultural and creative products with Taiwan characteristics.

2. Taiwan food and boutique exhibition area

It is set up in exhibition halls 8 and 7, with an area of 19700 square meters and 816 booths. It mainly displays high-quality food and accompanying gifts, scientific and technological products, brand jewelry, jewelry and handicrafts of well-known brands all over Taiwan.

3. Exhibition area of cross strait modern agriculture exhibition and China (Fujian) Monascus wine business Expo

It is set in exhibition hall 6, with an area of 11000 square meters and 450 booths. It mainly displays the achievements and products of modern agriculture on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, Fujian characteristic wine culture represented by Hongqu wine, and promotes Fujian Hongqu to the world.

4. Cross strait China Time-honored brands exhibition area

It is located in exhibition hall 2, with an area of 8200 ㎡, 318 booths (including "Fujian local products", 2700 ㎡ exhibition area and 93 booths), mainly displaying Chinese time-honored products on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and local products in Fujian.

（三）"Shared development" section

The exhibition area is 51800 m2, with 6 exhibition halls and 1632 booths.

1. Fuzhou investment promotion exhibition area

It is set in the East-West corridor of the central exhibition area, with an area of 190 m2. It mainly displays the image and development achievements of counties (cities) and districts, free trade zones and high-tech zones in Fuzhou, and promotes investment projects and policies.

2. Green food exhibition area

It is located in hall 5, with an area of 900 m2 and 400 booths. It is mainly divided into Fuzhou characteristic exhibition area, landmark food exhibition area, top 100 food exhibition area, leisure food exhibition area and meat products exhibition area. based on national characteristics, it displays healthy food and highlights green ecology.

3. Domestic sister city cooperation exhibition area

Set in exhibition area 2, with an area of 2800 m2 and 132 booths, it mainly displays the development achievements of sister cities of Fujian Zhejiang Jiangxi Anhui economic cooperation zone and the counterpart assistance of Fujian Province and Fuzhou City.

4. Modern home building materials exhibition

It is set in hall 10, with an area of 13000 square meters and 300 booths, mainly displaying modern household building materials products.

5. Characteristic industry exhibition

It is set in exhibition hall 9, with an area of 20000 m2 and 550 booths. It is mainly divided into characteristic handicraft exhibition area, tourism exhibition area, poverty alleviation and development exhibition area, new energy vehicle exhibition area, etc.

1. During the conference, exhibitors can enter the exhibition hall with valid certificates. The opening time of the exhibition hall is 9:00-17:00 every day. Among them, the morning of August 18 is temporarily closed to the public and only to professional purchasers.

2. Exhibitors will enter the exhibition hall from 8:30 a.m. every day with their exhibition card (from 7:20 a.m. on August 18).

3. The certificates of participants will enter the exhibition hall through the main gate of the conference center and the front and rear security doors of exhibition halls 2, 6, 7, 9 and 10.

4. The admission time of exhibits is from 10:00 a.m. to 21:00 a.m. on August 16 and from 8:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. on August 17. The exhibits can be admitted only after being scanned and verified by PDA with the booth card and exhibition card, and the exhibits are unpacked and checked to be consistent. The exhibits are not allowed to enter during the exhibition trading time. The rest of the time is not allowed to enter the exhibits.

5. If exhibitors need to replenish goods during the exhibition period, they can enter the exhibition only after the booth card and exhibition card are scanned and verified by PDA, and the exhibits are unpacked and checked to be consistent. Replenishment is not allowed at other times.

6. In order to ensure the safety of the exhibition, exhibitors are requested to consciously abide by the relevant regulations on public security and fire control of the exhibition hall. It is strictly prohibited to bring inflammables and explosives into the exhibition hall, smoke in the exhibition hall, and take good care of their portable bags and valuables.

7. All exhibitors entering the exhibition hall shall apply to the Organizing Committee for the exhibition arrangement permit (photos shall be provided) and apply to the Organizing Committee for the construction approval form. The exhibition hall shall be powered on by the construction approval form of the organizing committee before the exhibition arrangement unit can construct.
