MIECF was first held in 2008 and has been accredited by UFI since 2011. The Venetian Convention Center in Macao, located in the Venetian Resort on the Golden Avenue of Cotai, is a convention and exhibition venue in the resort and is wholly owned by Venetian (Macao) Co., Ltd. The Conference Center is the largest business event venue in Macau, providing 100000 square meters (1000000 square feet) of flexible conference and exhibition facilities that can be easily adjusted to meet the needs of different scale events.

Due to the integration of entertainment, performances, shopping malls, hotels, leisure and other elements, the Venetians of Macau have a certain guarantee of the customer source of the conference center, and have utilized the latest equipment. At the same time, the center has a large exhibition hall of 120000 square meters. Therefore, after the opening, a large group of groups came to Macau Venetians to hold a conference and exhibition. Among them, a considerable number of participating merchants have made their first visit to Macau, while some have also "transitioned" to the Venetian People's Exhibition. Several large-scale exhibitions, including the Global Jewelry and Watch Exhibition and the Macau International Trade and Investment Exhibition, will be relocated to the Venetian Convention Center in Macau. There are two Venetian exhibition halls on the ground floor and one on the upper floor, each of which can be separated into three independent exhibition halls. The A-C three halls are located on the lower floor, with an area of approximately 37315 square meters; The D-F has three halls located on the upper floor, with an area of approximately 37367 square meters. The six halls can simultaneously provide a total exhibition area of approximately 74682 square meters.
